DANCING MOOD
Dancing Mood se formó en Buenos Aires, Argentina, en Marzo del año 2000 por iniciativa del trompetista Hugo Lobo, quien tocó junto a bandas de la talla de Todos Tus Muertos, Attaque 77, Mimi Maura, Los Cafres y otras bandas locales. Dancing Mood es una orquesta de músicos liderada por siete vientos, con colaboraciones puntuales y esporádicas de otros tantos en sus shows en vivo, y que con temas clásicos del reggae junto con otros estilos, se adapta en forma instrumental al ska jamaiquino. La banda cuenta con instrumentos como trompeta, saxo, trombón, armónica, flauta traversa, tuba y oboe, dándole un toque de originalidad y dulzura que se complementa con percusión, contrabajo, guitarras, batería y teclado; interpretando un sonido sinfónico. En el año 2000 presentan su primer disco bajo el nombre de “20 minutos”. Dos años después sacan a la venta “Vol 2” y en el 2004 presentan su tercer trabajo discográfico, “Dancing groove”.
El 2006 llega el turno de "Groovin high"; en 2009 sale a la venta "On the sunny side of the street".
En 2010, Dancing mood festejó un centenar de shows en el local del barrio de Palermo editando el Dvd "100 Nicetos deluxe", con invitados de la talla de Vicentico, Deborah Dixon (Las Blacanblus) y el Coro Gospel argentino.
En 2011 la banda trabaja como nunca, editando una serie de 3 álbumes que pueden adquirirse por separado. Se trata de "Non Stop", volúmenes 1, 2 y 3, que cuenta con la participación de artistas internacionales de lujo, entre ellos Gaz Mayall, Winston Francis, Pauline Blck, Dorin Sheffer, Rico Rodriguez, Denis Wowell, Janet Kate y Sandra Cross. Además tocó la orquesta "Deluxe", que acompaña a Dancing Mood desde el año 2007 e invitados nacionales, como Maikel de Kapanga, Señor Flavio (LFC), Valentino, Deborah Dixon e Ibon.
El 25 de Febrero de 2012, Dancing Mood participó del Smile Fest, un festival de reggae que se llevó a cabo en el Teatro Niní Marshall de la ciudad de Tigre, provincia de Buenos Aires, junto a Gondwana y El Natty Combo, entre otras bandas del género.
